Serenata de los Andes is a tribute to Andean music as seen through the eyes of leader Jean Pierre Magnet, aiming to cast a spell over the audience and inviting it to experience the marvelous Andean landscape and vibrant culture.

Serenata de los Andes blends 25 skilled musicians, arranged into six sections: eight saxophones, emulating sounds of the Mantaro Valley; five panpipes dialoguing the sounds of the Altiplano; plus seven violins, Andean harp, guitar, charango and a percussion section. The group conveys the solidness and strength of the compositions, evoking a train traveling to each corner of the Peruvian Andes.
