A new free series at The Local curated by Mike Amari/Chosen Family in partnership with Wave Farm’s WGXC featuring Hudson Valley artists performing original music.
**Nora Knight** is a songwriter/multi-instrumentalist based in the Hudson Valley who writes songs with emotionally direct lyrics in non standard tunings, fitting somewhere in between indie folk and alt country. Historically a collaborator and drummer in numerous other projects (Constant Smiles, Maryse Smith), Nora has finally begun to settle into releasing music under her own name with a self-released EP available to stream and a full-length album soon to come.

This series will serve as an expansion of the Local Waves radio show I co-created with WGXC (which plays all new, local music every Friday 8pm) to further highlight these acts with a free, monthly concert in a fantastic venue at The Local.
